E.Comps & Comps. All
I welcome you all to this half yearly convocation and wish you all a pleasant morning. I am sure you would have had a very comfortable rest after the festivities last evening.
As I took over the helm of the region in February, I had informed that my priorities will be to see that our higher degrees make substantial growth in strength and also in its working. I am happy to report that there has been good progress in the first half. There has been 40 advancements and 57 joining taking the total membership to 2623. Please keep continuing the good working and see all our Master Masons soon be part of this Supreme degree.
I am proud to inform you that two new Chapters were consecrated, Chapter Trivandrum No.125 , in Thiruvananthapuram and Chapter Triple Tau No.126 in Hyderabad, thus taking the total number of Chapters to 50.
I had visited 13 chapters and had the opportunity to witness 27 of our companions receive LTS jewels of which two were for 50 years of service.
Though many chapters are taking lots of effort in improving their growth and performance in rituals, there are many who still need considerable improvement in the standard of ritual working. Comps. you will agree that unless the candidate goes through a proper and impressive exaltation ceremony, his interest and attendance cannot be sustained. I request the Chapters to have as many rehearsals, to improve their standard of ritual working, which will result in a better understanding and appreciation of the chapter ritual.
From the regions side I, as promised, will be organising area meets for the higher degrees, which will have seminars and workshops to improve the standard of ritual working and better knowledge about what, the Royal Arch Masonry is. The first area meeting for the Andhra areas will be held in Visakhapatinam on the 15th & 16th of October 2011. I am happy to inform you that our Third Grand Principal ME Comp. K.Ramabrahmam who is also the Senior Companion- in Charge of that area for Chapters is organising this meet. I request the companions to definitely attend the meet and be benefited. Many more such meets are to follow in Kannur, Hubli, Chennai, Coimbatore, etc.
Let us not forget that this supreme degree inspires us with the most exalted ideas of God and leads to the practise of the most devout piety. May the TTLGMH bless you and keep you and shower health , wealth & happiness to all our companions and their families.
Thank ME The III Gr.Principal & Companions
